The Summer Solstice period is the time of the year when Earth receives a maximum of sun light, hence a maximum of energy. Because of that, it is easier to get all our chakras aligned, and our magnetic field radiant.
Although is it important to learn to meditate in our day to day life, all year around, meditating during the Summer Solstice period is easier to achieve and gives you an even greater effect in your body/mind/soul.
I encourage you to try the Narayan Kriya, a meditation that is beneficial to make you beautiful and radiant in both your inner and outer lives. Narayan is the sound of the Infinite Blessings from the Universe. The mantra has a polarity in it: Sat Narayan Hari Narayan are vibrations that come from the Heavens, that speak from the core of your soul; Hari Narayan Hari Hari is the expression of your soul into the creative flow of your material daily life. Meaning you can receive the blessings from the Universe, accept them with an open heart, and let them flow into your life.
So here is how to do it. I put a picture of myself in the right posture (if your knee hurt, you can simply sit legs down in a chair), and I singclick here to access the song to which you can either sing of let the music rock you.
Posture*: Easy Sitting Pose. Tuck the elbows into the body with the forearms angled up so that the hands are at the level of the Heart Center, chest width or slightly wider. The hands are in Gyan Mudra, palms up.
Mantra: Take a deep breath and sing the mantra in a monotone on one breath. Take a deep breath between each recitation of the mantra.
Sat Narayan Hari Narayan Hari Narayan Hari Hari
To End: Inhale deeply and hold. Exhale. Repeat twice more.
Time: 11 Minutes
