It took me 6 months to like yoga (I started with Kundalini Yoga and stuck to that sole practice since the beginning of 2006), I mean to feel the effect of it and to understand what good it would do to my life. We all know that the reason we “like” doing something is because we benefit from it. For me, the benefits were that my mind got (finally!!!) somewhat quieter: little by little, I could be more and more inspired and take better decisions; also I started literally feeling the energy moving in my body – wavelike movements through my body, and little tickles in my hands, forehead and feet – that not only made me feel great but also made my senses sharper: I could hear and see better, hence had a feeling of being part of the nature and life around me.

I liked it so much that I decided to become a Kundalini Yoga teacher. I know yoga is not a new practice – it’s been practised for millenniums in Asia – and it’s also been practised for decades in Québec. But the beautiful thing that is happening right now is that science is starting to prove many things that masters have known for ages, and one of these things is that yoga does change the structure of our brain.

I invite you to experience it with me, whether you’re an skilled adept or a beginner, at Municipality of St-Adolphe d'Howard, starting Thursday September 14 at 19h. Please register if you plan on joining: The Municipality has a full week of registrations at the beginning of September.

See you soon! 🙂
